I recommend these links.

Go surfing!

Mindfulness, Creativity, Multiple Intelligences, and Brain Plasticity:

EightPrinciples.com--Michael Bungay Stanier is an award-winning author, Rhodes Scholar and the 2006 Canadian Coach of the Year.  But that's not why I love him.  I'm a huge fan because of the joy and creativity he puts into everything he does, and he's top on this list because I find his work more inspiring than anyone else's out there.  I highly recommend visiting his site to see what he has to offer to stir up your creativity.  Use the link above to see his delightful "Eight Principles of Fun" movie!

InnerKids.org

InnerKids is a national leader in teaching children self-directed skills to help them become more attentive and resilient.  Susan Kaiser Greenland and her organization are doing outstanding work offering meditation-based training focusing on developing attention, balance, clarity and compassion ("the New ABC’s").  Good stuff!

Centerpointe.com—Everything you could ever want to know about entrainment (using sound frequencies to trigger meditative brain states) and the industry’s best CD packages and support system for personal development. Highly recommended--and you get a free sample recording to try by simply visiting the site!.

DavidLazear.com—David is a prominent expert on Multiple Intelligences theory, and he offers a variety of materials and workshops to help teachers become educators extraordinaire!

ThomasArmstrong.com—Dr. Armstrong is one of the top experts in Multiple Intelligences, and is widely published in popular magazines as well as educational journals. He offers a whole new approach to “learning disabilities” and ADD/ADHD.

"On the Brain" blog--Dr. Michael Merzenich writes a great blog on brain plasiticity.  More fun than you'd expect! ;-) He keeps things pretty user-friendly, and offers fascinating insights into the way we think.

Fun Sites:

MentalFloss.com  Hey, any magazine that puts Albert Einstein on its cover—in a swimsuit!—gets my vote. The magazine is full of quizzes and why-things-work info.

TheMindfulParent.org This is a wonderfully calming site for
parents, and the regular little verses and mini-meditations really
help focus your attention on what matters most. Think of it as
your personal oasis!

MindfulHiker.com Associated with the book, this site offers great little nature snippets and gorgeous photos. You'll want to lace up your hiking boots and run right out the door! The perfect little mental hike when you're pretending to be working.

ColoringTherapy.com An amazing site all about coloring as an alternate form of meditation. Downloadable mandalas to color on your own, and lots of tips and stories from therapists and regular folks who have found coloring to be a remarkably soothing and centering activity.

LorinRoche.com Lorin is the coolest meditation teacher ever.

Highly recommended!

CamilleMaurine.com Camille and her husband, Dr. Lorin Roche, offer
engaging and powerful workshops on topics related to meditation and
mindfulness. She is also a gifted dancer, and the creator of Moving Theater.

TangoZen.com Dance Here Now, as they say. CD available to help those who would like to make tango their particular form of meditation. Why not?

Nia-Nia.com—Nia is a terrific mind/body technique. Think of it as mindfulness in motion—but it looks a whole lot like dancing around in your living room! There are Nia classes all over the world, and you can find one near you by visiting this site.

Tickle.com—Love to take tests? This site has hundreds of free quizzes and tests you can take to help you learn more about yourself.
