You're on your way to stirring up

some playful mindfulness

right where you live!

I'm providing all kinds of goodies for you.

If you haven't already read it,

make sure you take a look at

How To Be A Mindful Prankster

You'll find ideas for attracting other Pranksters,

some tips for getting organized,

and some fun ways to get creative about

your own Club.

Now, take a look at the following mission

and see how it might inspire YOU to

stir up awareness and creativity.

Mindful Pranksters Club Mission:

Seven Wonders

You've heard about the Seven Wonders of the World.

Recently, there was a global poll conducted and another

Seven Wonders added to the list.

The funny thing is that there are at least

SEVENTY Wonders of the World--

heck, maybe even SEVEN HUNDRED!--

but we only hear about the Big Seven (or now, the Big

Fourteen, I suppose).

And the reason we are aware of these Wonders

is because we have found ways to

designate, support and celebrate them!

The truth is that there are likely to be

at least

Seven Wonders in your community.

That's right.

Oh, sure, they're not huge monoliths

carved in stone centuries ago.

But there are riches right where you are.

What are they?

Think about the people, places and things

in your community--and that can mean

your city, your neighborhood, or your block--

that make it special, inherently BETTER

just for being there.

Remember--these don't have to

be FAMOUS in any way.

In fact, what you're really looking for

are the unsung heroes, the elements

that quietly make your place a bit better

in some way.

It might be a tree.

It could be a person who plays a certain

role and enriches your place because of it.

It might be a building or a business or

a park.  It could be a brightly-colored doorway

that makes you smile, or a quirky landmark

that you think is really special.

This first part is about your own

mindfulness--are you aware of the

things around you that contribute to

the unique flavor of your community?

By simply making a list of seven of

them, you're that much closer to

really NOTICING them--and you're

far more likely to notice other cool

elements around you, too.

The second part is about your own

creativity--how can you and your

Pranksters inspire others to pay

attention in a playful way?

Your mission?  Either on your own

or with your fellow Mindful Pranksters,

make a list

of Seven Wonders where you live.

They don't have to be THE Seven Wonders

where you live--you might have a whole

bunch of them!  Just pick seven people,

places or things that you think are worth

noticing.

Now, here's the fun part:

Come up with creative ways

to draw some playful attention to

your Seven Wonders.

How can you inspire people to notice

these treasures?

How can you celebrate them?

How can you protect or support them?

If you're a Prankster-At-Large,

pick one Wonder to start with.

For Clubs, you can divvie up the Seven Wonders

among your Pranksters if you like.

See how you can reach out and

inspire others to pay attention

to the riches in your community!

Remember the

Mindful Pranksters Club credo:

1.  Be kind.

2.  Be celebratory.

3.  Be playful.

4.  Be inspiring.

5.  Be purple.

6.  Be anonymous.

7.  Be FREE.

(Need more clarity?  Read the full credo)

Okay, my mindful friend!

Do some creative

brainstorming!

Create your list of Seven Wonders,

get silly, and see what you can

come up with to celebrate them

and raise a bit o' merry mindfulness.

GO! :-)
