The Mindful Pranksters Club Credo:
1. Be kind.
Mindful Pranksters Club pranks are
NEVER malicious or meanspirited. They are
completely harmless--
never defaming people or defacing property--
and relentlessly positive and apolitical.
2. Be celebratory.
Mindful Pranksters Club pranks
are intended as a way to celebrate good things so that
others may notice and appreciate them. Look for ways
to bring positive attention and support to the subjects
you are celebrating!
3. Be playful.
Fun is good, and play is powerful! Feel
free to be silly and see how you can come up with
surprising ways to make people smile.
4. Be inspiring.
It's fun to think of ways to make people
smile, but I also challenge you to consider creative ways
to make people feel INSPIRED while smiling.
5. Be purple.
Purple is the calling card of the
Mindful Pranksters Club. Look for ways to incorporate
it--playfully and harmlessly!--in all that you do. You can
leave purple things--ribbons, flowers, candy or
anything else you can think of --as your
Mindful Pranksters Club signature, and always carry a
purple pen for writing anonymous encouraging notes
that get tucked under doors or slipped into shopping bags.
6. Be anonymous.
Play with the idea that you and
your fellow Mindful Pranksters can do good deeds
of all kinds without ever getting thanked.
You'll enjoy it even more when you know
it's your little Mindful Pranksters Club secret!
7. Be FREE.
I offer all materials and support
for the Mindful Pranksters Club free of charge,
and I expect you to do the same.
You may never charge anyone anything
for participating as a member of your
Mindful Pranksters Club.
Thanks for being mindful of these seven ideas! ;-)
